Living a life of radical faith doesn’t end with the stories in your Bible! There are men and women today who are practicing radical faith all over the world. Here’s one story that really touched me.
A number of years ago, when Samar’s life was threatened by Al-Qaeda for sharing her faith, she and her husband and their three children fled to the US, where they could live freely.
But Samar couldn’t get one group she had left behind out of her mind: Muslim women. And so, years later, she returned.
Samar is now a field representative for Help the Persecuted, a support group embedded in Islamic lands that rescues, restores, and helps rebuild the lives of Christians who’ve faced hostility for their faith. She leads an underground Bible study for Muslim women who seek truth. These secret gatherings provide women what their society denies
