Have you ever had to stand before a judge in a court of law? Perhaps it was for something relatively minor like a traffic violation. Or perhaps for something more serious like a custody case or civil lawsuit. Whether you were innocent or not, there is something inherently unnerving about it.
The Bible says we will each have our day in court. This time the judge will be the Ruler of the universe. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 2 Cor. 5:10. “So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.” Rom. 14:12.
Does this thought send shivers down your spine? It need not! The Bible gives plenty of reasons why we can confidently face this judge.
