Using Challenging Times to Get the Message Out

Teresa Hargreaves // March 27, 2020

With the world abuzz with updates on the coronavirus, very little speaks of hope. News on the escalating number of cases, school closures, working from home, and self-quarantine are becoming the norm. It’s easy to become self-focused—stockpiling food, water, and other basic necessities of life—and forget about reaching out to others and sharing hope and comfort. But that is exactly what many people need at such a time as this.

Even amid the bad news, some people are brainstorming how to take advantage of this gloomy time to make a difference and bring some ray of sunshine and cheer into people’s lives. They are seeking ways to let their light shine before men. Matt. 5:16.

Ron* is one of those people. “Now is the time to bring comfort and help to people! We may not be able to visit them personally in their homes, but we can send them literature to read!” he shared.

Ron is planning to do a mass mailing to a large portion of the four zip codes around where he lives and will be using the upcoming issue of Last Generation titled “Can We Trust the Bible?”

He added, “I want to do my part to provide people with good reading material during this period when they have more time at home and are looking for answers.”

Then he quoted the words from a famous hymn, “Work, for the night is coming, when man works no more.”

Ron prays that when people receive this upcoming issue, they will not throw it away but instead choose to open it and read the truth-filled articles there.

Will you join him in praying that God will bless his project and that many people will read the magazine?

Would you like to follow Ron’s example of taking advantage of this challenging time to get the message out? Last Generation offers special pricing for large mailings and will help facilitate the process of sending out God’s message of truth. Why not call us today and choose to make a difference in someone’s life!
