Who Really Lives in Everlasting Fire?

The Bible’s answer might surprise you!

The concept of hellfire is not an appealing subject. The mainstream Christian understanding is particularly gruesome, conjuring up images of people agonizing in flames for eternity! 

Every so often, it’s healthy to pause and reevaluate what we believe. What if the Bible presents a completely different concept of who lives on into eternity surrounded by everlasting fire? Be prepared to be surprised! 

Isaiah 33:14 poses an interesting question: “Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?”1

“Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” Isaiah 33:14.

Of course, the wicked. Right? Not so fast. 

Isaiah continues with an answer: “He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly.” 

Whoa! That’s the opposite of what most would expect! But the Bible has a reason for saying this. Let’s explore it
