I check weather frequently. I like my weather app; it gives me both hourly and 10-day forecasts. Even if I can’t control the weather, just knowing what is most likely to happen gives me a sense of security.
Perhaps this is one reason I love Bible prophecy. Even if I don’t know exactly when God will step in and change the course of history, the Bible gives a definite outline of the future.
The Bible promises that one day, sin, sinners, death, the devil, deception, despots, and destruction will all be in the past. Fear and pain won’t exist. Peace, joy, love, and plenty will be the way of life for everyone. Sincere individuals like 16-yr old Greta Thornburg who fear their future on this planet because of climate change don’t seem aware of these precious promises.
